Melissa Sarver, 4th Year Medical Student at Duke, won first place in the poster competition at the North Carolina Dermatology Association conference.
Dr. Elise Olsen Receives Two Major Honors and Publishes Landmark Article
She has been named 2021 Honorary Member of the AAD for her work advancing the profession through leadership and service. Dr. Olsen has also received the David Whiting Leadership and Research Award from the American Hair Research Society for her work and research in hair disorders.

Strength, Hope, and Caring: Clinical and Team Awards
LaFayette Chavis, CMA, was nominated for the Clinical Award after rallying her colleagues around a patient and her family who had been displaced by Hurricane Florence. The entire clinical team at Duke Dermatology 3K, received the nomination for joining together in support of the effort.
