Duke Dermatology participated in Activate Good's 9/11 Day of Service on September 11, 2019, at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina in Durham. Our Residents, Residency Program Leadership and local volunteers worked together to sort sweet potatoes and peppers. Over 6000 meals were created in just under two hours! In preparation for our afternoon, our staff, nurses, residents and faculty worked together to collect 180 pounds of food which we also donated to the Food Bank.
