Great start to our Grand Rounds this year with a talk by Dr. Zakiya Pressley Rice followed by a discussion about implicit bias.

Dr. Elaine Otchere, third year resident, recently won a grant for her work on a novel technology to prevent wrong-site surgery!

On April 29, we hosted Dr. Andrea Deyrup and Dr. Joseph Graves who led our providers in a discussion of race in medicine.

Dr. Terry Lechler has been awarded the 2022 Career Mentoring Award in Basic - Translational Science. The Research Mentoring Awards recognize faculty members in the School of Medicine for excellence in research mentoring. Congratulations!

Dr. Larissa Rodriguez-Homs' article - "Allergen Content of Best-Selling Ethnic Versus Nonethnic Shampoos, Conditioners, and Styling Products" - received 2nd place for the Dermatitis article of the year. from the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Congratulations!
