Incoming Dermatology Resident Wins AppleSeed Award

Dr. Christopher Henderson, an incoming Duke Dermatology resident, won the AppleSeed Resident Teaching Award from Duke medical students for his excellent teaching during his intern year in Internal Medicine at Duke.  He will be starting with us in Dermatology on July 1st.

“The AppleSeed Resident Teaching Awards were created in the spring of 2008 by Duke medical students to recognize, reward, and hopefully encourage excellent teaching and mentoring by house staff. These awards are nominated and voted for annually by the School of Medicine second year class in recognition of the best resident educators who have shown a genuine passion for mentoring the next generation of physicians. The award is given to approximately the top 10% of residents and interns in each core rotation department who the students feel were outstanding educators. The winners are announced at Grand Rounds for their respective departments.”

Congratulations, Chris!
