Dr. Drew Emge, second year resident, has been selected to participate in the Duke Medical Education Leadership Track (MELT) during the 2021-2022 academic year. The MELT curriculum consists of monthly, interactive workshops on topics such as adult learning theory, giving and receiving feedback, and bedside and clinical teaching. The course culminates with a capstone project that demonstrates what the trainee would like to implement in their departments/divisions. Sponsored by Duke Graduate Medical Education, the MELT program is designed to help train new leaders in Medical Education.
