American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting

Our dermatology faculty had an eventful time at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting that took place March 3-7, 2017 in Orlando, FL. During this annual meeting, our faculty and residents saw many faces from former years and all over the nation.

Some of our faculty members also presented at the Academy. Their participation is listed below:

Dr. Atwater was the Director of “Contact Allergens of the Year” which took place March 3rd.

Dr. Bellet facilitated the workshop “Hands-On: Nail Surgery” which took place March 6th.

Dr. Cardones was a presenter for “Lichen Planus and LP Mimickers: Concepts and Controversies” which took place March 3rd and also “Caring for the Hospitalized Patient: Interesting Cases from the Inpatient Consultative Service” which took place March 6th.

Dr. Cook was the director of “Techniques for Flap Success” which took place March 6th.

Dr. Hall was a presenter to “Bullous Diseases: Diagnostic and Management Algorithm” which took place March 6th.

Dr. Olsen was the co-director of “The Impact of Drug Pricing on Access to Care: Demystifying the Landscape” which took place on March 3rd.

Dr. Prose was a presenter for “Dealing with Difficult Patient Encounters” which took place March 3rd.

Dr. Selim presented at “Advanced Dermatopathology” and “Journal Watching” which both took place March 4th.

Next year's meeting will take place in San Diego, CA.
