What are your career interests?

Hidradenitis suppurativa, skin of color, general dermatology, dermatopathology, teledermatology, nutrition, and health equity.

Why did you choose Duke for residency training?

My initial exposure to Duke Dermatology was when I chose to complete my research fellowship here with a focus on hidradenitis suppurativa and health disparities. As soon as I arrived, I realized what a special place Duke Dermatology is. The collegiality, mentorship, academic excellence, dedication to outreach, and increasing access to care for underserved community members are just a few of the wonderful qualities of this department. I am thrilled to stay and complete my residency training alongside a fantastic group of residents!
