What are your career interests?
I am passionate about medical dermatology, complex medical dermatologic conditions, and the ethical dimensions of dermatologic care. I am also deeply committed to academic dermatology, with a strong interest in health equity, medical education, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and dermatology. My goal is to build a career that combines patient care with scholarship and advocacy, particularly for underserved populations.
Why did you choose Duke for residency training?
I chose Duke because of its outstanding reputation in both clinical training and academic dermatology. I was drawn to the program’s strong emphasis on mentorship, dedication to health equity, and the opportunity to train in a setting that balances excellence in patient care with cutting-edge research. I also deeply appreciated the program’s supportive culture and commitment to nurturing residents with diverse career interests, including advocacy, ethics, and education.
