Duke Dermatology Welcomes Five Residents on Match Day

In today’s Match Day—the exciting moment when graduating medical students across the U.S. and beyond learn where they’ll be heading for specialized training—five students matched with Duke Dermatology’s residency program through the National Resident Matching Program.

Match Day is a pivotal time in a physician’s career, advancing students to the next phase of their professional journey and bringing them one step closer to realizing their goals in their specialized field of medicine.

This year’s class of Dermatology residents have exceptionally strong records of clinical care, research, leadership, and advocacy. We look forward to welcoming our newest team members and seeing the unique ways each of them will contribute to our clinical, education, and research missions.

We’re grateful to the many department members who played a part in recruiting this excellent cohort of incoming trainees, under the leadership of Erin Lesesky, MD, the department’s vice chair of education and residency program director.
